Effect of abciximab on late adverse events in patients with diabetes mellitus undergoing stent implantation
Abstract
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) is associated with higher rates of adverse cardiac events. Recent data suggest that adverse events are reduced in DM after PCI using stents with abciximab.
