Grid‐resolution effects on a model for integrating urban and rural areas
Abstract
The impact of grid‐cell size on calibrated parameters and on the performance of a variable source area model intended for urbanizing catchments is studied in this research. The model uses TOPMODEL concepts that were modified to consider urban areas in both the topographic index and the mechanism of surface runoff generation.
