Brief communication: A software solution for reducing startle eyeblink responses

Abstract

We examined the viability of a software-based spectral method for reducing acoustic startle eyeblink responses. Fifteen young adults were presented with a 95 dB burst of white noise for 50 ms while they viewed slides that varied in affective valence.
