Quantitative Imaging of Dielectric Objects Based on Holographic Reconstruction

Abstract

We present a technique to perform quantitative microwave holographic reconstruction in quasi-real time. Both the real and the imaginary parts of the permittivity distribution of a dielectric target are recovered quantitatively. The method relies on a calibration measurement of a known electrically small target. The initial validation of the approach is done with simulations of an F shaped dielectric bar.
