Lower Integrated Muscle Protein Synthesis in Masters Compared with Younger Athletes

Abstract

PURPOSE: The objective of this study is to compare the integrated muscle protein synthesis (MPS) rates of masters and younger triathletes over three consecutive days of intense endurance training.
