Certina Ho
Assistant Clinical Professor, Family Medicine

Certina Ho is a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. She is a Project Lead at the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada (ISMP Canada) with a primary responsibility on medication safety initiatives related to community pharmacy practice as well as medication incident reporting and analysis. Certina obtained her graduate degrees in Library and Information Science (1998) and in Education (2005) from the University of Toronto. Certina has recently completed her PhD dissertation on “Experiential learning in undergraduate pharmacy curriculum: A case study of co-operative experience of pharmacy students” in December 2015 at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto (OISE/UT).

Certina is currently a lecturer and a faculty coordinator at the Office of Experiential Education, Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, responsible for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) of the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. She is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Medicine, Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University, providing teaching support to evidence-based medicine tutorials and quality assurance projects of family medicine residents at the Kitchener-Waterloo campus.
