Sheri Findlay
Associate Professor, Pediatrics

Dr. Sheri Findlay is an Associate Professor with the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Findlay graduated from McGill University and did her pediatric residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. She then completed a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She has been working at McMaster Children’s Hospital since 1999.

Since starting at McMaster Dr. Findlay has focused on the development of specialized services for youth, including the successful creation of several interdisciplinary programs for youth with a wide variety of issues. Dr. Findlay developed and led the first pediatric eating disorders program in the Hamilton area and has also developed the first Pediatric Chronic Pain Clinic. She remains the medical director of the Pediatric Chronic Pain Program at McMaster Children’s Hospital and is Co-Chair (Pediatric) of the Ontario Chronic Pain Network. Dr. Findlay was involved with the founding and initial accreditation of the specialty of Adolescent Medicine in Canada, and she is now the Chair of the Adolescent Medicine Specialty Committee at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the examination board of the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
