Sandi Azab
Assistant Professor, Medicine

Dr. Sandi Azab is assistant professor in Metabolomic Epidemiology and Global Heath, and a registered pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. She received her doctoral degree in Chemical Biology from McMaster University and completed her postdoctoral training in epidemiology at the Chanchlani Research Centre, McMaster. Dr. Azab is a recipient of the CIHR Research Excellence, Diversity, and Independence (REDI) Early Career Transition Award. She is an expert in metabolomics and biomarker discovery and leads multidisciplinary research focused on cardiovascular and metabolic disease and child and maternal health, within multiethnic Canadian and global cohorts.
