Radiotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy for childhood medulloblastoma. The Royal Marsden Hospital experience.
Abstract
PURPOSE: We reviewed the outcome of children with medulloblastoma treated from 1970 to 1985 with combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: Fifty-seven children with a median age of 8 years (range 1 to 16 years) at diagnosis were analyzed regarding survival, site and time of recurrence, treatment toxicity, prognostic factors and performance status.
