Interactions between flagellar and type III secretion proteins in Chlamydia pneumoniae

BackgroundFlagellar secretion systems are utilized by a wide variety of bacteria to construct the flagellum, a conserved apparatus that allows for migration towards non-hostile, nutrient rich environments.
