Cloning of HSP60 (GroEL) operon from Clostridium perfringens using a polymerase chain reaction based approach

Abstract

Using degenerate oligonucleotide primers for conserved regions of HSP60, a 0.6 kilobase fragment of Clostridium perfringens DNA was amplified by the polymerase chain reaction.
