Plasma volume and ion regulation during exercise after low- and high-carbohydrate diets

Abstract

This study compared plasma volume (PV) and ion regulation during prolonged exercise in control vs. glycogen-depleted (GD) conditions, with emphasis on the initial minutes of exercise.
