Endoscopic transnasal drainage of frontal epidural abscesses.
Abstract
BACKGROUND: Although rare, sinogenic intracranial epidural frontal abscesses remain a serious and potentially life-threatening complication of sinusitis. Traditional therapy involves a combination of intravenous antibiotics, sinus surgery, and neurosurgical drainage through an external approach.
