The Influence of Pressure on Fracture of a Ti-V Plate Steel
Abstract
The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the fracture behaviour of a hot-rolled plate steel subjected to two different thermomechanical histories has been studied. The pressure-dependent ductility of the annealed plate was in good agreement with the results of a model based on void growth in a powerhardening solid.
