The deformation of CuW laminates

The process of plastic flow in bimetallic laminates of copper and tungsten has been investigated by texture determination, and the mapping of plastic deformation using a grid technique. The results indicate that in the region close to the CuW interface the plastic flow of the matrix is constrained, and the original undeformed texture is retained.
