Targeted Disinfection of E. coli via Bioconjugation to Photoreactive TiO2

Abstract

The selective control of pathogenic bacteria is an ongoing challenge. A strategy is proposed that combines targeted binding of the bacterium, using antibodies, with their photoactivated oxidative destruction.
