Pediatric Thrombophilia
Abstract
Pediatric thrombosis and thrombophilia are increasingly recognized and studied. In this article, both the inherited and acquired factors for the development of thrombosis in neonates and children are categorized using the elements of Virchow's triad: stasis, hypercoagulable state, and vascular injury.
