Dual Quantum Dot Molecular FRET Probes for Picomolar DNA Hexaplexing (Small Methods 16/2026)

Abstract

Front Cover In article number e70776, Thomas J. Sørensen, Niko Hildebrandt, and co‐workers present the development and characterization of luminescent nanoprobes for higher‐order multiplexing via time‐resolved FRET from terbium complexes to quantum dots. The application of the FRET‐probes in the simultaneous quantification of six different DNAs from a single sample is showcased. The image (by N. Hildebrandt) represents the multidimensionality of the spectro‐temporal multiplexing approach described in the article.
