Health Geography

Abstract

Abstract This entry reviews contemporary health geography, from its humanistic origins in the 1990s to its current extension under a post‐humanist theoretical orientation. Attention is paid to expanding methods as well as to emerging social, health, and health care realities that have demanded new geographical scholarship.
