InP-Based Laser Diode for Plasmonic Biosensing

Abstract

We theoretically present a plasmonic biosensor based on an InP diode laser. The electrically pumped laser compensates for plasmonic losses and enables fluid sensing by monitoring changes in the characteristics of the output light.
