Exploring Dirac Gratings in Silicon Photonics

Abstract

Dirac gratings are a specific type of Bragg grating where the periodic perturbation of refractive index resembles a train of Dirac delta functions. A key property of such gratings is that their spectral characteristics remain invariant with respect to the grating order. In this paper, we present the modeling and design silicon-based waveguide Dirac gratings.
