An Improved Hamiltonian Control for Single-Phase Two-Quadrant Converter in PMSM Drive System Under Constant Power Load Conditions

Abstract

This research proposes an improved Hamiltonian control strategy for a PMSM drive system with Constant Power Load (CPL) characteristics. To address DC bus voltage instability during rapid command changes, the controller integrates integral compensation. Simulations in MATLAB/Simulink validate the approach, showing reduced voltage oscillations and precise speed control during sudden acceleration, outperforming conventional methods under CPL conditions.
