Silicon integrated photonic devices with subwavelength metamaterials

Abstract

We present advancements in silicon photonic devices with subwavelength metamaterials, including TE-pass polarizers, grating couplers, and nanophotonic antennas. These devices achieve high performance in bandwidth, polarization sensitivity, and integration efficiency, paving the way for advanced applications in high-speed communications, quantum photonics, and biomedical sensing.
