Clinical Characteristics and the Impact of Surgery and Chemotherapy on Survival of Patients With Advanced and Metastatic Bronchioloalveolar Carcinoma: A Retrospective Study

Abstract

We retrospectively analyzed data from the clinical charts of 126 patients with bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC) referred to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Center. The patient group consisted of 49 men (39%) and 77 women (61%). The mean age at diagnosis was 64 years. Most patients were smokers (85%).
