Subwavelength Photonic Structures for Nonlinear Optical Functionalities

Abstract

Periodic subwavelength patterning of silicon enables the control of nonlinear effects with unprecedented flexibility. Here, we will present our most recent results on nonlinear supercontinuum generation and nonlinear Brillouin interactions in subwavelength silicon waveguides.
