Clinical Characteristics and Treatment Outcomes of Testicular Myeloid Sarcomas After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: A Single-institution Experience

Abstract

• Testicle is an uncommon site for myeloid sarcomas and pose a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge to urologists. Herein we present our single-institution experience with diagnosis and management of six patients with testicular myeloid sarcomas. In our experience, clinical history and immunohistochemical findings are of great importance for diagnosis of testicular myeloid sarcomas. Systemic chemotherapy is recommended. Unilateral orchiectomy or testicular biopsy combined with radiotherapy could be used for patients with need to preserve testicle.
