Cue-weighting in the perception of intervocalic stop voicing in European Portuguese

Abstract

This paper describes the perception of intervocalic stop voicing in European Portuguese (EP) stimuli without a stop burst, when varying three acoustic cues: Vowel duration, stop duration, and voicing maintenance during stop closure.
