Strategies to reduce out-of-pocket medication costs for Canadians with peripheral arterial disease

BACKGROUND: Given that peripheral arterial disease (PAD) disproportionately affects people of lower socioeconomic status, out-of-pocket expenses for preventive medications are a major barrier to their use.
