Perovskite nanoparticles on demand: highly stable nanoparticles using reverse micelle templating

Abstract

Using reverse micelle templating as a universal method for perovskites, we have been able to produce emitting particles across the visible spectrum. Both polymer and inorganic shells around the perovskite core have shown increased stability, as well as unusual room temperature crystal structures and optical properties. The slowed down reaction kinetics allows precise tuning of the compositions, sizes and distributions.
