Management of chronic asthma in adults in diverse regions of the world.
Abstract
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the lungs associated with significant morbidity and mortality worldwide. Adoption of current treatment guidelines that propose inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) as the foundation for asthma treatment should control most patients with chronic asthma.
