Abstract

BACKGROUND: Proximal humerus fracture (PHF) is a common upper extremity injury. PHF often causes prolonged disability and interferes with independent function. PURPOSE: This study reviewed and summarized prognostic factors of recovery following PHF and classified them within the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) with each domain sub-categorized by modifiability.
