Heat transfer from a turbulent hot air jet impinging normally on a flat plate
Abstract
Abstract The heat flux distribution on a flat plate resulting from a normally impinging free jet of hot air was measured for a variety of experimental conditions. A method has been developed for calculating local heat flux in terms of nozzle exit parameters, nozzle to plate spacing and surface temperature distribution.
