Three Decades of Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation for Myeloma; Trends in Early Mortality and Survival

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Outcomes in multiple myeloma have significantly improved in recent times owing to the availability of newer more effective therapies. Autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) has been used for over three decades to treat multiple myeloma. We aimed to evaluate the outcome of patients receiving ASCT at our institution between 1990 and 2015.
