Modelling the potential for peat-block transplants to restore industrially contaminated Sphagnum peatlands
Abstract
For centuries, humans have inadvertently been contaminating peatlands due to industrial emission of pollutants that degrade key peatland ecosystem functions, such as carbon sequestration.
