Abstract
Structural plate castings of Nemalloy HE700 alloy, an Al-Fe eutectic alloy system with Zn and Mg as precipitation strengtheners were produced through high vacuum high pressure die casting (HVHPDC) and designed as an alternative to existing structural automotive materials.
