Crab spiders affect flower visitation by bees

In a field experiment, the bumblebee, B. ternarius , visited milkweed patches harboring crab spiders, Misumena vatia , at a lower frequency than patches free of crab spiders, and honeybees showed a similar but non‐significant trend.
