Time-Gated Circuit for SPAD-based OWC

Abstract

A Time-gated (TG) circuit is designed to generate a TG signal applied in SPAD-based optical wireless communication (OWC) system. The simulation results demonstrate that the signal can be used to eliminate inter-symbol interference (ISI) and improve bit error rate (BER) performance.
