Distributed Bragg Reflector Cavities on Tellurium Oxide-Coated Silicon Nitride Waveguides

Abstract

We report on the design and characterization of Bragg grating-based cavities on silicon nitride waveguides. The potential of such devices on achieving on-chip lasers with rare-earth-doped tellurium oxide coatings is discussed.
