Study of 190Ir via single-proton and single-neutron transfer reactions
Abstract
Levels in the odd-odd nucleus 190Ir were investigated with the 191Ir(d,t), 189Os(3He,d) and 189Os(α,t) reactions. For the 191Ir(d,t) reaction, spectra were measured at 16 angles with a typical overall resolution of 5–6 keV FWHM. The angular distributions of cross sections were compared with predicted curves from DWBA calculations, and spectroscopic strengths were extracted for the different l-values populating the states.
