Flow regime characterization and liquid film thickness measurement in horizontal gas-liquid two-phase flow by an ultrasonic method.
Abstract
A technique, using an ultrasonic, was developed to measure liquid film thicknesses and to characterise flow regimes in horizontal gas-liquid and gas-liquid metal two-phase flows. The effect of tube size, tube wall thickness and liquid film temperature are discussed. (A)
