POTENTIAL LIQUEFACTION ANALYSIS OF TURNU MAGURELE-NICOPOLE DAM.

The paper presents the main results of a dynamic stability analysis of the dam. These results are discussed in terms of the new stability concept. The dynamic analysis indicated a normal earthquake behavior, with a stronger rsponse for the Vrancea earthquake, whose dominant period is closer to fundamental period of the dam.
