Zero Field Temperature Depencence of the Rare Earth Sublattice Magnetization in RTiO3; R = Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Tm

Abstract

The compounds RTiO3, R = Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Tm, form an isomorphous series having the GdFeO3 type structure which is an orthorhombic distortion of the cubic perovskite structure. The magnetic properties of these materials differ from those found in the isostructural compounds RMO3, M = Cr or Fe.
