Abstract

Poly(dimethylsiloxanes), di-terminated with amino acids, were synthesized by employing the Diels-Alder reaction of cyclopentadiene- or furan-terminated poly(dimethylsiloxanes) with functional dienophiles including N-maleoyl-protected phenylalanine.
