Primary Hyperparathyroidism: A Narrative Review of Diagnosis and Medical Management
Abstract
Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is the most common cause of hypercalcemia in the outpatient setting. Symptomatic presentation includes non-specific signs and symptoms of hypercalcemia, skeletal fragility, nephrolithiasis and nephrocalcinosis.
