Abstract

Because of the high-torque's capability and power factor as well as high-speed flux-weakening region operation, the permanent-magnet assisted synchronous motor (PMA-SynRM) is a right candidate for the next generations of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs).
