Abstract
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is the most common cause of admission to acute care facilities in Canada. The burden of illness for patients, caregivers and the health care system is profound. Dyspnea in advanced COPD pervades all aspects of patients' lives.
