Viscoplasticity and plasticity - numerical stability revisited
Abstract
We discuss the numerical stability of explicit, Euler-type elastic-viscoplastic time-marching schemes. We propose an implicit time-marching scheme avoids matrix inversions, thereby improving computational efficiency. -from Authors
