Infection and Pheochromocytoma
Abstract
A urinary tract infection with possible septicemia and endocarditis developed in a 36-year-old man. The illness was complicated by pulmonary embolism, thrombocytopenia, hematemesis, hepatic dysfunction, paralytic ileus and accelerated hypertension. The latter finding suggested pheochromocytoma.
