PURPOSE: To determine a best estimate of the incidence of endophthalmitis after immediately sequential bilateral cataract surgery (ISBCS) and assess the benefit of prophylactic intracameral antibiotics. SETTING: Eye Foundation of Canada, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
