Abstract

Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus (VRE) can contribute significantly to the morbidity of immunocompromised patients. Vancomycin Dependent Enterococcus (VDE) has been rarely reported. We report a nosocomial cluster of Variably Vancomycin Dependent Enterococcus faecium (VVDE) in bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients.
